The AngleseyPonic Project

 

The aim of this project spearheaded by Menter Mon –Llangefni is to introduce Anglesey and Conway growers and farmers to an alternative method of growing produce, using hydroponic and aquaponic techniques.
Funding for this agri-innovation project has come mainly from the European Leader + programme, Anglesey County Council and the Welsh Assembly Government.
The research, development and training project of Hydroponics and Aquaponics is based on Anglesey at Cae Gwyn, Carmel, the home of Philip and Rowena Mansfield.

Prosiect Ponics Môn

Mae Menter Môn, sef asiantaeth fenter Ynys Môn, yn cefnogi’r prosiect yma - eu bwriad yw cyflwyno ffyrdd gwahanol o dyfu cynnyrch i ffermwyr a thyfwyr Ynys Môn a Chonwy.
Mae’r dechneg o ddefnyddio Hydroponeg ac Acwaponeg i dyfu wedi cael ei threialu yn llwyddiannus yn barod ar yr Ynys, gyda safle ymchwil, datblygu a hyfforddi wedi ei sefydlu ar Fferm Philip a Rowena Mansfield yng Nghae Gwyn, Carmel.

Mae’r Rhaglen Ewropeaidd Leader +, Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn a Llywodraeth Cynulliad Cymru wedi cefnogi’r prosiect yma.
